In December 2024, I was diagnosed with ALS which many of you know as Lou Gehrig’s disease. ALS is a fatal neurodegenerative disease for which there remains no cure. This diagnosis and its progression eventually ended my career in music which included a 30 year run as keyboardist and backing vocalist for Kid Rock and the Twisted Brown Trucker Band.

Once upon a time on the east side of Detroit, long before I met up with Kid Rock and the band I had a band called Jimmie Bones and the Graverobbers. The original lineup consisting of myself, Dominic LaMarra, Louie Simon, Randy Nasuti, and Tommy Cicola recorded our first batch of songs at Joel Martin’s 54 Sound Studios. Many folks have asked about those never before released recordings. Now with the help of Joel Martin and his staff at 54 Sound, two of those songs are now available on a 7 inch 45 RPM vinyl record. This limited quantity vinyl is available right here only at /jimmie-bones-store  All proceeds minus the shipping costs will go to the ALS Association. These proceeds help make it possible for the ALS Association to provide resources and assistance that make the ALS journey more livable for people suffering from the disease, and their families and caregivers.
The ALS Association also provides funding for critical research that hopefully will lead to more ground breaking discoveries, treatments, and someday a cure for ALS.        The donation for the never before released Jimmie Bones and the Graverobbers vinyl 45 is $50 and will also include free MP3 downloads of my single releases THROUGH HELL FOR HEAVEN’S SAKE, and BITTERSWEET.
